EVS/Housekeeping Manager, Evening Shift in Healthcare
Overview
EVS leadership role overseeing housekeeping and environmental services in a healthcare setting. You will manage frontline associates, coordinate with administration and other departments, and maintain service standards. What You'll Do10
- 1Build staffing plans and schedules to ensure adequate evening coverage
- 2Design and implement standards and procedures for all EVS staff
- 3Lead hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training for associates
- 4Scale operations through supervising supervisory staff and ensuring effective delegation
- 5Drive monthly reporting of goals, outcomes, and plans for continuous improvement
- 6Own vendor coordination for outside services (Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Waste, Recycling) and ensure service level agreements
- 7Collaborate with administration and departments to resolve issues and improve service
- 8Lead inspections and make recommendations to improve facilities and cleanliness
- 9Ship initiatives that enhance patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
- 10Mentor staff to improve performance and foster a culture of accountability
Requirements10
- 1Four years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance
- 2At least one year of supervisory experience in a high‑contact customer service environment
- 3Strong written and oral communication skills
- 4Ability to multi‑task and set priorities in a changing environment
- 5Demonstrated initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership
- 6Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures
- 7Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet navigation
- 8Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 9Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
