Overview

The House Attendant will ensure cleanliness of guest walkways foyers stairwells and public vending areas while assisting Room Attendants to maintain resort standards. This role requires maintaining personal grooming standards using proper uniform and radio etiquette. Responsibilities include vacuuming sweeping and mopping walkways assisting with linen management and reporting issues to supervisors.

What You'll Do17

• 1Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including uniform radio/earpiece and company pin
• 2Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with associates
• 3Empty Room Attendant carts of soiled linen and trash
• 4Vacuum sweep and/or mop walkways stairwells vending areas and breezeways
• 5Assure housekeeping closets storage and linen rooms are organized for next shift
• 6Receive linen supplies and stock linen closets neatly
• 7Remove dirty dishes from housekeeping closets daily
• 8Dust and polish lighting and room numbers by guest room doors
• 9Clean hallway windows and spot clean hallways as needed
• 10Help Room Attendants with heavy lifting and special cleaning projects
• 11Report missing found articles damage or merchandise problems to supervisor
• 12Respond to guest questions providing assistance directions and information
• 13Report suspicious persons or hazardous conditions to MOD and/or Security
• 14Handle tasks assigned by supervisors consistently
• 15Provide instruction and guidance for guests and associates on safe exit procedures
• 16Share knowledge of stain removal chemical cleaning agents and equipment operation
• 17Follow workplace culture policies and demonstrate appearance appropriate for four-diamond resort
