Home Care Scheduling Coordinator (Bilingual Chinese)
Overview
You will own caregiver scheduling and visit confirmations for 80-90 patients, using HHAeXchange as your primary platform. You'll coordinate between Home Health Aides, patients, and families, ensuring coverage and quality service. You'll join a mission-driven team at True Care, working on-site in Brooklyn or Manhattan. This role demands fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese, and your work directly impacts patient well-being.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build daily caregiver schedules in HHAeXchange, assigning aides to patient visits and confirming attendance.
- 2Manage a caseload of 80-90 patients, prioritizing coverage for no-shows, call-outs, and missed visits.
- 3Communicate with patients and families about appointment changes, cancellations, and physician plan of care.
- 4Verify caregiver attendance and billed services against requested services in HHAeXchange.
- 5Handle incoming calls, emails, and faxes from physicians, contracts, and clients, providing status updates.
- 6Partner with the Team Lead to resolve staffing challenges and maintain updated documentation.
- 7Participate in patient case conferences, in-service programs, and caregiver orientations.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese (spoken and written).
- 31+ years of customer service experience (preferred).
- 4Knowledge of HHAeXchange (highly preferred).
- 5Strong interpersonal and communication skills for sensitive situations.
- 6Excellent customer service with empathy and patience for elderly patients.
- 7Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- 8Professional demeanor when managing difficult issues.
Salary Insight
$44 - $48k per year
