Overview
We seek a skilled HIM Verification Specialist to join our Orlando team. The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end processing of clinical documents ensuring accuracy for patient care. This role drives data integrity through digital categorization and verification across multiple systems.
What You'll Do9
- 1Analyze and classify incoming documents for scanning into the document management system including email attachments and CD uploads
- 2Serve as primary data verification analyst entering discrete data to support clinical decisions
- 3Create consult orders based on specialty referrals to initiate scheduling processes
- 4Maintain accuracy standards while proposing efficiency improvements
- 5Test upgrades and new applications for document handling workflows
- 6Process documentation directly from NemoursLink and Care Everywhere messages
- 7Apply HIM policies using advanced technology to eliminate printing redundancies
- 8Resolve escalated operational issues requiring cross-departmental coordination
- 9Demonstrate proficiency with EMR Optical Character Recognition Document Imaging Software Microsoft Office Rightfax
Requirements5
- 1Associate degree with RHIA or RHIT preferred 1-3 years experience
- 25+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 3Competency in HIM verification processes and policy compliance
- 4Experience with document imaging software and OCR applications
- 5Strong analytical skills for data validation and workflow optimization
