Overview
The Health Information Management (HIM) Processor at Chapters Health System drives mission-critical patient care initiatives. This role transforms healthcare delivery through data integrity and operational excellence.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assemble and analyze medical records following standardized protocols
- 2Obtain physician signatures for certification and coordinate orders promptly
- 3Report incomplete recertifications three days before benefit period end
- 4Follow HIM policies as directed by Director of Him & Coding
- 5Maintain positive teamwork attitudes to ensure timely task completion
- 6Scan and index paper documents accurately while preserving patient identifiers
- 7Request necessary medical records from external providers per nursing documentation
- 8File scanned documents ensuring proper patient name and number correlation
- 9Monitor documentation status and escalate unresolved chart deficiencies
- 10Uphold patient confidentiality across all interactions
- 11Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in medical information management
- 3Health Information Management Certificate or HIT PRO Certificate
- 4Excellent organization and communication abilities
- 5Proficiency navigating electronic health record systems
- 6Strong understanding of medical record formats and content
- 7Detail-oriented approach to documentation tasks
- 8Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively
- 9Commitment to continuous professional development
- 10Experience with budgeting and resource allocation
- 11Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory standards
