What You'll Do11
- 1Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the restaurant
- 2Provide a positive first impression and set the tone for the overall dining experience
- 3Assist guests with inquiries and share menu specials
- 4Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
- 5Handle seating for large parties and special events with care and efficiency
- 6Manage restaurant reservations including confirmations modifications and cancellations
- 7Maintain an organized reservation system and communicate status to serving staff
- 8Assess dining room layout and manage efficient seating assignments
- 9Keep the waiting area clean and visually appealing
- 10Provide accurate wait time estimates and offer alternatives when needed
- 11Ensure host/hostess areas remain neat and well-maintained
Requirements7
- 1Previous experience as a host/hostess or in customer service is beneficial
- 2Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 3Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- 4Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 5Professional and positive attitude
- 6Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills
- 7Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
