Overview
Own diagnostic and repair work for a diverse fleet of heavy construction gear in a shop setting. Lead maintenance on excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, trucks, and support equipment to reduce downtime and extend asset life. You will collaborate with the team to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on every job. What You'll Do5
- 1Build and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on excavators, dozers, loaders, and trucks to reduce downtime within 90 days
- 2Perform preventive maintenance including oil, filters, fluids, belts, and hoses with adherence to OEM specs
- 3Document repairs and parts usage accurately for maintenance records and warranty claims
- 4Read and interpret service manuals and electrical schematics to execute precise repairs
- 5Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot complex problems and share knowledge while maintaining safety standards
Requirements5
- 13+ years of heavy equipment repair experience
- 2Strong diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems knowledge
- 3OEM dealership experience preferred (CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, Volvo, CASE, Hitachi, etc.)
- 4High school diploma or technical certificate
- 5Ability to read service manuals and electrical schematics
