Healthcare QA Automation Engineer with Selenium & Java
Overview
You own automation testing for healthcare applications, including EHR/EMR systems, using Selenium and Java. You join a QA team that values precision and speed, and you will directly impact patient-facing software reliability. You will collaborate with developers and product managers in an Agile environment, ensuring every release meets clinical standards. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement automated test suites using Selenium and Java for healthcare modules.
- 2Build test frameworks from scratch, integrating with CI/CD pipelines to shorten feedback loops.
- 3Automate regression tests for EHR/EMR systems, validating clinical workflows end-to-end.
- 4Develop and maintain test data and environments, working with cross-functional teams to resolve blockers.
- 5Drive test strategy for Contact Center and IVR applications, including Cyara tooling.
- 6Debug flaky tests and refactor test code to improve stability and coverage.
- 7Partner with developers to shift-left testing, embedding automation at the unit level.
- 8Document test results and track defects in JIRA, providing clear metrics to stakeholders.
Requirements7
- 15+ years in QA automation with strong hands-on in Selenium and Java.
- 23+ years testing healthcare applications, preferably EHR/EMR systems.
- 3Hands-on experience with Cyara for IVR and contact center testing.
- 4Solid understanding of Agile development practices and test-driven mindset.
- 5Excellent debugging skills and familiarity with version control (Git).
- 6ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
- 7Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
