What You'll Do9
- 1Own GN&C architecture across all spacecraft programs
- 2Define technical strategy and roadmap for autonomous spacecraft control systems
- 3Lead development of GN&C algorithms supporting rendezvous proximity operations and formation flying
- 4Drive integration between GN&C flight software avionics and mission systems
- 5Establish engineering standards modeling practices and verification methodologies
- 6Conduct simulation Monte Carlo analysis and performance validation
- 7Oversee hardware-in-the-loop testing and flight readiness efforts
- 8Recruit mentor and develop GN&C engineers
- 9Serve as technical authority during program reviews customer interactions and executive discussions
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's Master's or PhD in Aerospace Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 210+ years GN&C experience supporting spacecraft launch vehicles or autonomous systems
- 3Own flight-critical GN&C systems from concept to operational deployment
- 4Deep understanding of orbital mechanics nonlinear control and state estimation
- 5Strong experience with rendezvous proximity operations and formation flying missions
- 6Proven leadership of highly technical engineering teams
- 7Proficiency with MATLAB Simulink Python and C/C++
- 8Ability to integrate algorithms into embedded flight software and HIL environments
- 9Strong systems engineering mindset across multiple disciplines
- 10U.S. citizenship required
- 11Eligibility for TS/SCI clearance
