What You'll Do5
- 1Develop and evaluate safety-critical human rated GN&C flight software
- 2Integrate and test new GN&C algorithms for vehicle and mission performance
- 3Create algorithms for trajectory optimization
- 4Provide process improvement recommendations for design and development
- 5Perform additional duties as required

- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Experience with Kalman filters
- 3Knowledge in spacecraft system performance modeling
- 4Expertise developing GN&C algorithms and analysis
- 5Proficiency in 6 DOF algorithms and simulations
- 6Background in orbital mechanics and GN&C principles
- 7Skills in designing, verifying, testing, and operating GN&C software
- 8Familiarity with Linux Python MATLAB Simulink C/C++
- 9Git/GitLab version control expertise
- 10Experience creating space system requirements and documentation
- 11Strong task organization and prioritization abilities
- 12Excellent communication and documentation skills
- 13Teamwork within NASA civil servant and contractor environments
- 14Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- 15Knowledge of AI/ML safety-critical embedded software
- 16Experience with object oriented development practices
- 17Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- 18Understanding of spacecraft rendezvous and docking procedures
- 19Knowledge of NASA/JSC documentation standards
- 20Familiarity with NASA Trick simulation architecture and JEOD
