Own one-on-one client care in North Seattle homes as a licensed HCA or CNA, with part-time roles that can grow to full-time. You will work from a personalized care plan covering ADLs, housekeeping, and medication assistance, while building consistent relationships instead of rushing between patients. What You'll Do9
- 1Deliver ADL assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting per each client's care plan, using Safe Patient Handling techniques.
- 2Perform housekeeping chores such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation to keep homes safe and orderly.
- 3Administer medication assistance as delegated, documenting every dose in Clear Care or Telephony apps.
- 4Transport clients to appointments and errands using your personal vehicle, ensuring safe driving and timely arrivals.
- 5Assist with transfers, repositioning, and lifting (up to 100 pounds) using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- 6Provide companionship and emotional support, promoting independence and dignity during every visit.
- 7Track and report client condition changes to the care management team within the same shift.
- 8Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in all client interactions and records.
- 9Use Microsoft Outlook and WellSky Personal Care to log visits, hours, and observations accurately.
Requirements9
- 16+ months of industry-related caregiving experience.
- 2Current Washington State CNA, HCA, HHA, or NAR credential in good standing.
- 3Valid Washington State driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
- 4RN Delegation certification strongly preferred but not required.
- 5Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, across phone, email, and in-person.
- 6Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally 100+ pounds with assistance.
- 7Demonstrated tact in working with diverse populations across ages and backgrounds.
- 8Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook, plus quick mastery of WellSky Personal Care.
- 9Pass pre-employment and ongoing background checks per state regulations.
