Hardware Support Technician - Charlotte NC
Overview
Contract Position supporting hardware management of mobile devices and accessories for customers. This role involves staging kitting shipping cleaning restoring devices updating tickets assisting inventory tracking and team collaboration. The position offers pay of $17/hr through the end of the year with potential to transition to full-time roles.
What You'll Do8
- 1Staging hardware devices by uploading and configuring software including wireless and mobility applications
- 2Organizing and assembling hardware accessories
- 3Processing devices for shipment or delivery to customers
- 4Interfacing with customers and partners to diagnose product issues and resolve them
- 5Managing support tickets packing packaging shipping and receiving
- 6Maintaining constant inventory flow organizing and managing stock
- 7Repairing mobile devices while following established procedures
- 8Performing additional duties as assigned
Requirements11
- 1High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2One or more years of experience in supply chain warehouse electronics mobile device setup or repair
- 3Degree or certification in electronics engineering computer science or technology
- 4Ability to follow specific instructions with attention to detail
- 5Strong written communication skills
- 6Excellent listening and verbal communication abilities
- 7Strong interpersonal skills for interaction across organizational levels
- 8Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel Outlook
- 9Physical capability to lift move materials weighing five to over fifty pounds
- 10Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- 11Fine motor skills with keen attention to detail
