Hanger/Textiles Associate, Sorting & Quality Control
Overview
Sort and inspect donated clothing in a 35,000 sq ft distribution center, ensuring quality standards for 52 retail stores. Work independently on a production line with a team of 12-15 associates. Meet daily production goals while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Cross-train in cash register, donation receiving, and pricing to support store operations.
What You'll Do7
- 1Sort clothing by type, size, and quality, rejecting items that fail quality standards
- 2Hang and tag garments with price tags, working at a pace of 100 items per hour
- 3Maintain a neat and organized sorting area, keeping aisles clear and bins labeled
- 4Cross-train in cash register operations, handling sales and returns
- 5Receive donations, inspect for damage, and price items for resale
- 6Lift and carry up to 50 pounds of donated goods during receiving shifts
- 7Meet production quotas for sorting and hanging within shift hours
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 21+ year production or warehouse experience preferred
- 3Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 50 pounds
- 4Detail-oriented with manual dexterity for tagging
