Production Associate, Backroom Operations & Pricing
Overview
You will own backroom operations at Red White and Blue Thrift, handling tasks from hanging and tagging to pricing and sensor placement. You will work alongside Pricers and Team Leads to keep merchandise flowing to the sales floor, with a focus on accuracy and color order. This role offers variety across multiple stations and requires physical stamina for standing and lifting. You will make a direct impact on store readiness and customer experience by ensuring products are properly prepared and displayed.
What You'll Do9
- 1Hang products in correct order by color, sleeve length, and garment type for sales floor readiness.
- 2Affix price tags accurately and enter prices into the pricing machine per company standards.
- 3Learn pricing tasks to provide coverage during Pricer absences.
- 4Count items for the sales floor and attach sensors based on fabric type and placement guidelines.
- 5Deliver priced merchandise to designated sales floor locations, maintaining organization and color order.
- 6Monitor sales floor for safety hazards and notify management when areas become overfilled.
- 7Assist customers as needed while maintaining the sales floor.
- 8Maintain cleanliness and organization in backroom areas.
- 9Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and support store operations.
Requirements10
- 1Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, or back of house experience preferred
- 2High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally and exert up to 25 lbs of force frequently
- 4Stand for extended periods
- 5Perform repetitive motions including extending hands and arms and working with fingers
- 6Skilled in fine motor tasks such as grasping, holding, and turning items
- 7Maintain balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces
- 8Clear vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
- 9Work in a noisy, bright environment
- 10Communicate effectively in English for instructions and customer interactions
