Overview
Lead gymnastics classes for school-aged children at Sunnyvale location. Teach students to build blocks for success using professionalism enthusiasm safety and personal strengths. Foster positive relationships with students and parents while incorporating CSC curriculum. Graduate students to next level. Collaborate with site leadership to enhance customer experience. Teach classes and support program standards set by Coordinator.
What You'll Do10
- 1Design and deliver engaging gymnastics lessons that align with CSC curriculum and student needs
- 2Maintain safe and healthy environment during all activities
- 3Implement specific themes skills goals projects and events as assigned
- 4Collaborate with site leadership to continuously improve customer experience
- 5Assist in developing individualized plans to help students progress to next level
- 6Provide outstanding customer service to students parents and staff
- 7Utilize appropriate skill progressions and terminology when teaching gymnastics concepts
- 8Lead groups of children confidently while demonstrating self-motivation and teamwork
- 9Complete required background checks and obtain necessary permits for minors
- 10Assist with administrative tasks and coordinate with program staff
Requirements7
- 1Valid work permit if under 18 and fingerprint clearance if 18+
- 2Negative tuberculosis test result
- 3Passion for working with children and positive attitude
- 4Ability to lift assist levels minimum 45 lbs
- 5Prior experience in child-related services or youth sports coaching
- 6Background as competitive gymnastics athlete or proven teaching experience
- 7Certification such as CPC Card or BCBA preferred
