Guidewire Data Architect, Databricks & Azure P&C Insurance
Overview
You will architect and implement cloud-native data solutions for property and casualty insurance using Guidewire and Databricks. Integrating Guidewire data into the lakehouse via CDA and custom pipelines, you'll own the data architecture end to end. Collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, you ensure robust, scalable data flows. This role demands deep Guidewire data modeling expertise and hands-on Azure deployment.

- 1Design and implement data pipelines ingesting Guidewire data into Databricks using CDA and custom integrations.
- 2Architect end-to-end cloud-native data solutions on Azure for P&C insurance analytics.
- 3Lead the integration of Guidewire data models with the Databricks lakehouse.
- 4Drive the migration and transformation of legacy data into modern Azure data platforms.
- 5Own data quality and governance across the Databricks environment.
- 6Build reusable data processing frameworks on Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
- 7Collaborate with actuarial and claims teams to define data requirements and deliverables.
- 8Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost on Azure and Databricks.
Requirements7
- 15+ years as a data architect with P&C insurance domain expertise.
- 24+ years implementing end-to-end cloud-native data solutions using Azure and Databricks.
- 3Strong experience with the Guidewire Data Model and integrating Guidewire data into Databricks via CDA.
- 4Hands-on SQL, Python, and Spark skills for data transformation.
- 5Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
- 6Proven track record designing scalable data architectures for insurance.
- 7Ability to work onsite in Edison, NJ, 5 days a week.
