Primeflight seeks a skilled GSE Mechanic to repair and maintain aircraft ground service equipment. This role involves advanced maintenance tasks across diverse equipment ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do11
- 1Service equipment with fuel water oil hydraulic fluid and compressed air
- 2Log equipment numbers to be repaired with detailed descriptions
- 3Inspect Maintain Troubleshoot Replace Repair Overhaul Modify engines transmissions
- 4Address electrical systems brakes hydraulic and pneumatic systems on mobile lift and conveyor systems
- 5Perform bumpers body work bag cart curtains rods towing hitches and undercarriages wheels tires
- 6Diagnose troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic issues following manufacturer guidelines
- 7Remove test repair components such as carburetors governors air cleaners ignition points auditory sensors
- 8Adjust tolerances of valves bearings cams clutches drive shafts
- 9Operate test ground equipment assess performance complete paperwork track parts
- 10Follow safety procedures protect self and colleagues exemplify PrimeFlight standards
- 11Execute additional duties as management assigns
Requirements11
- 118 years of age or older eligible to work in United States
- 26 years verified experience required
- 3Provide personal tools and toolbox
- 4Maintain regular attendance demonstrate reliable work presence
- 5Hold valid state driver’s license pass background check drug screen
- 6Obtain FAA TSA Port Authority U.S. Customs U.S. Postal clearances if applicable
- 7Work flexible shifts including nights weekends holidays
- 8Lift up to 70 pounds
- 9Ability to stand walk crawl crouch bend stretch squat kneel
- 10Exposure to noise chemicals outdoor elements hearing alarms repetitive motion tasks
