Grocery Merchandiser, Retail Field Ops & Local Territory
Overview
Grocery Merchandiser will manage assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and reporting with mobile tools. You will merchandise shelves, lift up to 50 pounds, and coordinate with store teams to ensure product distribution and accurate in-store representation. This is a part time role covering Laurel MD and nearby areas with a focus on hands-on retail execution. You will join a national integrated commerce agency dedicated to helping brands win at retail and collaborate with sales, marketing, and analytics teams.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams
- 2Conduct store audits and ensure accurate client product representation on shelves
- 3Stock and replenish products as needed across assigned accounts
- 4Travel between stores within the territory to complete retail tasks and audits
- 5Report via mobile apps with photos, task completion, and communication with store teams
- 6Maintain safety standards and professional appearance while on-site
- 7Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required
- 8Communicate clearly and follow directions independently
- 9Support route flexibility and consistent scheduling
- 10Support the sales and merchandising process from order to shelf placement
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2Valid Driver License and automobile insurance
- 3Reliable transportation and a working phone
- 4Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
- 5Experience in retail, sales, or merchandising is a plus but not required
- 6Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions independently
- 7Comfortable working in a fast-paced, retail environment with minimal supervision
- 8Ability to drive to stores within Laurel MD and surrounding areas within a 40-60 mile radius
- 9Proficient with mobile apps for reporting and photo uploads
- 10Commitment to consistent, part-time schedule with 20 hours per week
