Graphic Designer, Cannabis Brand Packaging & Marketing
Overview
Graphic Designer at Planet 13 Las Vegas will own the visual storytelling for packaging, marketing materials, print, and digital content at a high-traffic superstore. You will collaborate with marketing and product teams to deliver cohesive visuals that stand out in a regulated industry. This in-office role emphasizes brand consistency, creative exploration, and timely project delivery. You will contribute to elevating the MMDC brand style and voice across environments and formats.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and design materials for packaging, logos, infographics, presentations, and marketing collateral
- 2Design and produce visuals for event brand guidelines and digital content that align with brand standards
- 3Lead multiple projects from concept to completion within deadlines
- 4Collaborate with creative director, managers, copywriters, and account executives to produce clear materials
- 5Stay up to date with graphic design techniques, trends, and software to enhance output
- 6Ensure high accuracy and consistency with brand elements across all deliverables
- 7Coordinate production considerations including resolution, sizes, file types, scanning, pre-press, and print production
- 8Incorporate photography and image selection to communicate design goals
- 9Maintain organization and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment
- 10Assist with implementation of company policies and maintain compliant, professional work practices
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in marketing or graphic design; or two years of related experience and/or training
- 2Ability to take design direction and deliver in a regulated industry context such as cannabis, with knowledge of packaging regulations and compliance preferred
- 3Must complete Osha 10 Industry Training within 6 months of hire (company paid)
- 4Must be able to possess a marijuana agent card and be 21 years of age or older
- 5Excellent grammatical, spelling, and proofreading abilities and strong design skills
- 6Experience with photo retouching, image compositing, and color correction is a plus
- 7Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- 8Ability to work in an in-office role at the Las Vegas location and comply with all company policies
- 9Knowledge of production processes for collateral including file types and print workflows
- 10Experience in highly regulated industries such as cannabis, alcohol, or healthcare is preferred
