Graphic Design Manager, Proposals & Marketing
Overview
You will own the design and production of proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral for Torcon, a construction management firm with projects across the northeast and Puerto Rico. You'll work with the marketing team to translate technical information into clear, branded visuals that win clients. Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are your core tools, and you'll also produce polished PowerPoint decks for executive meetings. Your work directly shapes our brand and supports business development. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and format proposals, qualifications packages, and presentations from first draft to final production, using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
- 2Build polished PowerPoint decks for client meetings, interviews, and project pursuits, ensuring visual consistency and clear storytelling.
- 3Create charts, infographics, and diagrams that simplify complex construction data using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- 4Collaborate with marketing, business development, and project teams to gather content and deliver high-quality submission materials on tight deadlines.
- 5Maintain and update marketing collateral, project sheets, and presentation templates, keeping Adobe InDesign files organized and accessible.
- 6Produce internal communications materials, including newsletters, event promotions, and leadership announcements, using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- 7Coordinate website content updates with an external design consultant, applying basic knowledge of Google Analytics to track engagement.
- 8Design branded apparel and promotional items for corporate events and recruiting initiatives, aligning with Torcon's brand standards.
Requirements8
- 13+ years of graphic design experience, with a portfolio that includes proposal development, preferably in construction or professional services.
- 2Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, demonstrated through professional design samples.
- 3Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, including template design and document production.
- 4Experience creating graphics, infographics, and data visualizations for technical audiences.
- 5Strong layout, typography, and visual hierarchy skills, proven through a design portfolio.
- 6Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7Familiarity with marketing automation tools like Constant Contact and Google Analytics is desirable.
- 8Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
