Own daily golf shop operations and guest service at a premium property. Manage tee times, course flow, and equipment help for a smooth guest experience at scale. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain tee sheets with accurate daily totals
- 2Provide emergency first aid/CPR as necessary and ensure guest safety
- 3Assist golfers with carts and equipment and greet guests according to standards
- 4Coordinate with Landscaping/Grounds regarding maintenance needs
- 5Set up practice stations and wash/detail ranger carts
- 6Answer questions, check in golfers for lessons, and stock supplies
- 7Escort non-registered individuals off course and maintain course cleanliness
- 8Maintain and track tournament group information and report changes to staff
- 9Secure golf shop at close of business and protect assets
- 10Schedule employees and model professional behavior for the team
Requirements10
- 1High School diploma or GED
- 2At least 1 year of related work experience
- 3Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks
- 4Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- 5Ability to enter and locate information using computers and POS systems
- 6No supervisory experience required
- 7Must be able to work onsite in Tampa, FL
- 8Must be able to stand for extended periods and navigate course terrain
- 9Experience in guest services or hospitality preferred
- 10Commitment to Marriott equal opportunity principles
