Overview
Own daily golf operations at McDowell Mountain Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ, supporting the Head Golf Professional across all phases of the course. You will track player fees, manage tee times, and ensure 5+ years of exceptional member and guest experiences. As part of the Arcis Golf team, you'll collaborate with a crew focused on elevating service and forging connections. What You'll Do8
- 1Run daily golf operations alongside the Head Golf Professional, including opening and closing procedures at McDowell Mountain Golf Club.
- 2Track and verify player and guest charges for green fees, golf cars, club care, lockers, and handicaps, ensuring accurate billing.
- 3Monitor the reservation system and pace of play to keep the course moving smoothly and enhance the golf experience.
- 4Develop and manage tournament formats, golf instruction clinics, and player development programs for members and guests.
- 5Assist in training, scheduling, and motivating the golf operations staff to meet club objectives and service standards.
- 6Build relationships with members and guests, anticipating needs to deliver a memorable experience on the course.
- 7Manage golf shop inventory and merchandise displays, coordinating with the head professional on orders and pricing.
- 8Lead junior golf and beginner programs, fostering a love of the game through structured lessons and events.
Requirements7
- 1Level 1 certification or greater from the PGA or LPGA required.
- 22 years of college coursework or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 3Proven golf operations background with 3+ years in a golf facility setting.
- 4Experience in golf instruction, with ability to teach individuals and groups.
- 5Excellent communication and people skills, with a focus on customer service.
- 6Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- 7Proficiency with golf reservation systems and POS software, such as Jonas or Clubessential.
