Own the shipment lifecycle for global freight as the primary customer contact, managing international moves from purchase order to delivery. Master C.H. Robinson's industry-leading training program and apply critical thinking to resolve transportation and documentation challenges. Collaborate with international teams and third-party agents to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction. This role offers a hybrid schedule with two days on-site and three days remote, plus a Tuesday-Saturday shift from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Develop skills that open paths into Operations, Sales, or Account Management at a top logistics platform.
What You'll Do8
- 1Manage the shipment lifecycle from purchase order to delivery, ensuring compliance with all documentation and regulatory requirements.
- 2Coordinate booking approvals, pre-alerts, governmental filings, and delivery execution to meet customer SOPs.
- 3Resolve transportation and documentation issues using critical thinking and industry knowledge.
- 4Collaborate with international team members and third-party agents to maintain efficiency and customer service.
- 5Build strong customer relationships through timely responses and proactive issue resolution.
- 6Provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers.
- 7Participate in customer business reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- 8Adapt processes to meet evolving customer needs and market conditions.
Requirements9
- 11+ years of supply chain experience
- 2High school degree or GED equivalent
- 3Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- 4Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- 5Proven customer service skills with a client-focused approach
- 6Critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities to adapt to changing tasks
- 7High attention to detail
- 8Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
