General Teacher - Early Childhood Education

What You'll Do8
- 1Plan and implement daily lesson plans and activities that are age-appropriate and aligned with the program curriculum.
- 2Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that respects diversity and supports each child's individual needs.
- 3Observe, document, and assess children's progress; share observations and developmental updates with families and team members.
- 4Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom in compliance with licensing and organizational policies.
- 5Support routines including arrival, meals, toileting/diapering, rest time, and transitions.
- 6Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administrators to support children's learning and well-being.
- 7Communicate regularly and professionally with families, providing resources and guidance as appropriate.
- 8Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and program improvement activities.
Requirements8
- 1Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
- 21+ years experience working with young children in a classroom, childcare, or related setting preferred.
- 3Strong classroom management and effective, compassionate communication skills.
- 4Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and adapt instruction to diverse learners.
- 5Team-oriented approach and willingness to learn from colleagues and supervisors.
- 6Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- 7Must meet state and local licensing requirements.
- 8Ability to pass background screening and any required health checks.
