Overview
As a General Service Technician at Midas, you own routine maintenance and safety inspections at a full-service facility in Miami, Florida. What You'll Do6
- 1Perform fluid exchanges and oil changes on a range of vehicles, ensuring correct fluid types and levels.
- 2Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections, checking brakes, tires, and critical systems for wear.
- 3Mount, balance, and rotate tires to manufacturer specifications.
- 4Replace batteries, bulbs, belts, and hoses to address common wear items.
- 5Maintain and clean shop areas, keeping tools and equipment in working order.
- 6Support senior technicians with complex repairs and diagnostics as needed.
Requirements5
- 1Entry-level knowledge of automotive basics, including vehicle systems and components.
- 2Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- 3Familiarity with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, and diagnostic tools.
- 4Deadline and detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- 5Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
