Overview
You'll own basic automotive service at a Firestone Complete Auto Care store in Miami, handling oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections for up to 20 vehicles daily. What You'll Do9
- 1Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
- 2Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services on passenger cars and light trucks.
- 3Install and balance tires, plus perform rotations and flat repairs.
- 4Install batteries and shock absorbers, then check electrical systems with a multimeter.
- 5Road test vehicles to verify repair quality and brake performance.
- 6Maintain a clean and organized service bay, following safety protocols.
- 7Use shop software to document services and communicate with customers.
- 8Assist senior technicians with larger repairs, building diagnostic skills.
- 9Complete ASE study modules and on-the-job training to earn certifications.
