Overview
As General Manager, you own the daily operations of a high-volume Domino's store in Los Angeles, from food prep and inventory to team leadership and customer service. You'll direct a team of 5-10 crew members, manage phone orders and delivery logistics, and ensure every shift meets quality control standards. You'll work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to hot ovens, sharp tools, and cramped quarters, but you'll gain managerial experience and bonus potential.
What You'll Do9
- 1Operate pizza ovens, cutters, and peels to prepare and finish products within 30-45 seconds per order.
- 2Receive and process telephone orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- 3Direct delivery drivers on routes, verifying driver licenses and insurance per company standards.
- 4Monitor inventory levels daily, completing paperwork and stocking ingredients from the walk-in cooler.
- 5Clean equipment and facilities daily, including hot surfaces, floors, and bathrooms.
- 6Train new hires on safety protocols, portion control, and customer service in the first 2 weeks.
- 7Manage cash register and make change for in-store and delivery payments.
- 8Resolve customer complaints over phone and in person, ensuring 100% satisfaction.
- 9Schedule staff shifts and assign duties to maximize efficiency during peak hours (lunch and dinner).
Requirements8
- 11+ year of supervisory experience in food service or retail.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Valid driver license with a clean driving record and access to an insured vehicle.
- 4Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and carry 30-pound sauce cans and 12-pound dough trays.
- 5Finger dexterity for typing and pizza assembly, with 20/20 vision (corrected or uncorrected) for near and far tasks.
- 6Math skills for portioning and cash handling, using a calculator when necessary.
- 7Comfort with heat (up to 500°F ovens), cold (36°F cooler), and weather extremes during outdoor deliveries.
- 8Ability to stand for 8+ hours and climb stairs (up to 5 flights) during delivery shifts.
