What You'll Do9
- 1Oversee fuel, convenience store, and liquor sales, setting daily sales targets and monitoring performance.
- 2Recruit, train, and coach team members, focusing on customer service and POS proficiency.
- 3Control inventory for all categories, using stock control systems to order, receive, and merchandise products.
- 4Run cash handling and financial reconciliation, using POS reports to track daily revenue and discrepancies.
- 5Implement pricing and promotions to boost sales, analyzing sales data to adjust strategies.
- 6Ensure compliance with liquor laws, safety regulations, and health standards, including responsible alcohol service.
- 7Handle customer issues directly, resolving complaints about products, service, or fuel operations.
- 8Monitor store performance through sales analysis, adjusting staffing and displays to meet targets.
- 9Manage payroll, bookkeeping, and operational budgets, using accounting software to track expenses.
Requirements8
- 13+ years managing retail operations in gas stations, grocery stores, or convenience stores.
- 22+ years leading teams, with proven supervisory skills in high-volume settings.
- 32+ years handling inventory, purchasing, and merchandising, using stock control systems.
- 4Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and financial reconciliation.
- 5Knowledge of liquor licensing laws and responsible alcohol sales practices.
- 6Strong math skills for transactions and budget management.
- 7Bilingual abilities in Spanish or Arabic for diverse customer base.
- 8Experience in recruiting, training, and payroll processing.
