Full Charge Bookkeeper, QuickBooks & Payroll in NYC
Overview
Own and manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations for a New York based organization at scale. You will handle payables, receivables, payroll, and month-end reporting with accuracy and strong attention to detail. You will ensure reliable financial records and timely reporting while partnering with operations and HR teams. This role emphasizes hands-on ownership and practical accounting discipline.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build end-to-end bookkeeping processes to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions
- 2Manage accounts payable including reviewing invoices processing payments and maintaining vendor records
- 3Handle accounts receivable tasks by issuing invoices monitoring collections and applying customer payments
- 4Complete bank and account reconciliations regularly to verify balances and resolve discrepancies promptly
- 5Process payroll accurately according to schedules and company requirements
- 6Prepare month-end close activities including reviewing ledgers posting adjustments and supporting timely financial reporting
- 7Maintain data integrity in QuickBooks and generate operational and financial reports as needed
Requirements7
- 1At least 7 years of experience in a full charge bookkeeping or closely related accounting role
- 2Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks in a business environment with strong attention to detail
- 3Proven experience managing full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- 4Hands-on background in payroll processing and month-end close responsibilities
- 5Experience performing bank reconciliations and resolving account variances with accuracy
- 6Solid understanding of general bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping best practices
- 7High level of organization attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounting priorities effectively
