What You'll Do8
- 1Register patients and collect accurate information at check-in
- 2Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-certifications and authorizations
- 3Calculate and collect patient liability and explain financial policies
- 4Enter payments and reconcile daily financial activity
- 5Schedule patient visits and procedures to maximize reimbursement
- 6Communicate with patients and internal teams to address concerns and maintain smooth patient flow
- 7Assist with patient records requests and release information per policy
- 8Provide patient services to support flow, including vitals, escorting, and care coordination
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 21+ years in patient financial services, billing, or insurance processes
- 3Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- 4Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- 5Proficiency with office software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
