What You'll Do8
- 1Build client intake and reception workflows to ensure timely and accurate information flow
- 2Assist with case preparation and management to support attorneys
- 3Maintain files, calendars, deadlines, and filings to ensure timely completions
- 4Research property records and analyze financial documents to support estate plans
- 5Draft petitions, motions, proposed orders, and probate pleadings
- 6Serve as primary client liaison to inform and support clients
- 7Prepare and manage ALTCS applications, analyze financials, and respond to requests
- 8Schedule, bill, and maintain case management systems
Requirements10
- 1At least 1 year in a legal office or four years in a professional office setting or equivalent experience
- 2Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 3Excellent verbal and written communication
- 4Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- 5Compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled clients
- 6Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat
- 7Paralegal certificate or associate degree preferred but not required
- 8Experience with Clio case management software preferred
- 9Background in Elder Law, Estate Planning, Probate, or ALTCS preferred
- 10Must be able to work in-office full-time
