Foundry Operator & Polish Operator Jobs in Boston, MA
Overview
You will operate foundry equipment and finish products to exact specifications at a leading manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, on-site role with multiple shifts and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. You will join a stable manufacturing team committed to safety and quality. Your work directly supports production output for a high-volume operation.
What You'll Do8
- 1Operate foundry equipment and machinery to cast and shape metal parts.
- 2Load and unload materials into furnaces, molds, and finishing stations.
- 3Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- 4Perform quality inspections on finished parts, checking for defects against blueprints and tolerances.
- 5Polish and finish products to meet quality specifications using hand tools and polishing equipment.
- 6Inspect parts for defects such as cracks, porosity, or surface imperfections.
- 7Maintain production standards by following standard operating procedures and adjusting equipment as needed.
- 8Follow all safety standards, wearing PPE and adhering to lockout/tagout procedures.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 2Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift (including weekends as scheduled).
- 3Reliable transportation to and from Raynham, MA worksite.
- 40-1+ years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- 5Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- 6Strong attendance and reliability record.
- 7Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- 8Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
