FOSS Project Manager
Overview
Lead complex journey level project management for the Facility Operations and Support Services division at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Report directly to the FOSS Central Office Manager and operate under the FOSS Director. Deliver strategic initiatives that enhance facility administrative safety security and support services across Texas.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own and execute complex projects ensuring timely delivery and effective resource utilization
- 2Develop detailed project plans analyze alternatives manage risks and track progress
- 3Lead cross-functional teams providing technical guidance and staffing recommendations
- 4Define project scope and serve as primary point of contact for project control
- 5Prepare comprehensive documentation including management plans budgets and lessons learned
- 6Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners for operational initiatives
- 7Manage project budgets and ensure compliance with organizational standards
- 8Facilitate project meetings and present information to diverse audiences
- 9Oversee document archiving and knowledge transfer processes
- 10Perform additional duties as assigned to support FOSS operations
- 11Analyze data and develop solutions for operational improvements
Requirements9
- 1Minimum 5 years managing complex projects with proven leadership skills
- 2Certified Associate in Project Management or Project Management Professional preferred
- 3Strong analytical abilities and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- 4Experience in business systems analysis and report writing
- 5Proven ability to work collaboratively in dynamic environments
- 6Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 7Valid Texas driver's license
- 8Degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience
- 9Ability to travel within Texas for project-related activities
Salary Insight
$78 - $86k per year
