What You'll Do11
- 1Deploy optimize and extend Spice.ai solutions in production environments
- 2Collaborate with engineering to incorporate customer feedback into core product features
- 3Resolve technical blockers debug issues and extend Spice.ai capabilities on-site or remotely
- 4Design end-to-end architectures using Spice.ai for data querying search and AI inference
- 5Identify expansion opportunities and drive adoption of new features
- 6Own initiatives to refine offerings and deliver superior developer experiences
- 7Embed with enterprise customers and partners to deploy Spice.ai OSS/Enterprise and Cloud Platform in production
- 8Contribute to Spice.ai OSS improvements based on real-world usage
- 9Take ownership of a customer deployment area from architecture to production rollout
- 10Propose and execute technical strategies for scaling customer integrations
- 11Lead a POC deployment and fix deployment issues during first week
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Proficiency with Databricks Snowflake Starburst Dremio ElasticSearch and similar technologies
- 3Strong SQL skills in queries syntax modeling and optimizations
- 4Familiarity with data storage like HDFS Amazon S3 and relational databases
- 5Knowledge of data integration including ETL ELT ingestion and transformation
- 6Understanding of data security privacy authentication and encryption
- 7Problem-solving for complex data challenges
- 8Presentation skills for technical and executive audiences
- 9Relationship-building with customers and partners
- 10Ability to travel 20%+ based on customer needs
- 11Experience with Apache infrastructure CNCF stack and cloud-native development
