ForgeRock Java Developer, Identity & Access Management
Overview
You will design and deliver IAM solutions with ForgeRock AM and ForgeRock IDM. The stack runs on Java and Spring Boot. You will join a team of engineers in New York building enterprise identity platforms. This contract role owns the full lifecycle from design to production support, with direct client interaction.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement ForgeRock AM and ForgeRock IDM integrations for enterprise clients.
- 2Build Spring Boot microservices that secure APIs with OAuth and OIDC.
- 3Ship SAML and OIDC federation flows across ForgeRock and third-party systems.
- 4Debug and resolve ForgeRock access and identity lifecycle issues in production.
- 5Drive the migration from OpenAM and OpenIDM to ForgeRock cloud or self-managed.
- 6Write and maintain custom Java plugins and connectors for ForgeRock.
- 7Collaborate with security architects to align IAM policies and governance.
- 8Lead technical design sessions and code reviews for IAM feature delivery.
Requirements7
- 16+ years in Java development, with 2+ years on ForgeRock suite.
- 2Expertise in ForgeRock AM and ForgeRock IDM (or OpenAM/OpenIDM).
- 3Strong Spring Boot and microservices architecture experience.
- 4Hands-on with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML protocols.
- 5Experience in enterprise IAM solution design and deployment.
- 6Proven track record of integrating ForgeRock with external directories (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory).
- 7Ability to troubleshoot and optimize ForgeRock performance and security.
