Lead IAM Tools Engineer
Overview
Leading the IAM tools engineering team for a major financial technology organization, you will own the security and reliability of enterprise Identity and Access Management services across complex production environments. Your stack spans PingID, ForgeRock, Splunk, and AWS, with direct oversight of platform operations and infrastructure coordination. You will mentor a team of engineers while driving the roadmap for IAM tooling. - 1Design and implement scalable IAM solutions using PingID and ForgeRock to secure enterprise access.
- 2Drive reliability improvements for IAM services by automating deployment with Jenkins and Terraform.
- 3Lead incident response for IAM outages, coordinating across infrastructure and security teams.
- 4Build monitoring and alerting dashboards in Splunk to track system health and security events.
- 5Own the integration of IAM tools with AWS services and on-premises directories.
- 6Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and paired debugging sessions.
Requirements8
- 15+ years engineering experience with IAM platforms like PingID or ForgeRock.
- 23+ years leading technical projects or teams.
- 3Expert in scripting with Python or Go for automation.
- 4Hands-on with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, and IAM roles.
- 5Proven experience with Splunk for log analysis and monitoring.
- 6Strong understanding of identity protocols: SAML, OAuth, OIDC.
- 7Familiarity with Terraform and Jenkins for infrastructure as code and CI/CD.
- 8Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills in production environments.
