What You'll Do9
- 1Perform comprehensive assessments of physical social and psychological status including cognitive communication and developmental skills
- 2Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans involving patients families physicians and support staff
- 3Plan and prepare patients for continued support including teaching referrals and follow up
- 4Direct interdisciplinary care teams through delegation and coordination ensuring effective management of time supplies and resources
- 5Evaluate patient responses to interventions by reviewing goal achievement clinical outcomes and family satisfaction
- 6Maintain accurate documentation and integrate legal ethical standards into daily practice
- 7Operate monitoring equipment and identify supplies while navigating busy clinical environments
- 8Transport patients ambulate them and manage equipment under pressure
- 9Drive vehicle safely adhering to traffic regulations and hospital signage
Requirements9
- 1Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Colorado with valid compact license transferable within 60 days
- 2Minimum one year of licensed RN experience in an Emergency Department
- 3Completed SANE course before start date
- 4Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) earned from accredited institution
- 5Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- 6Ability to lift and maneuver patients weighing up to heavy items
- 7Strong verbal and written communication skills for rapid information exchange
- 8Experience with electronic documentation systems and medical software
- 9Preference for candidates holding BSN degree
