What You'll Do11
- 1Deliver safe patient care through assessment planning implementation and evaluation
- 2Provide direct patient care within scope of practice
- 3Direct and guide patient/family teaching and coordinate nursing personnel in Telemetry
- 4Respond quickly to patient condition changes and treatment responses
- 5Maintain HIPAA compliance and report abuse incidents
- 6Ensure accurate documentation and communication with physicians regarding patient status
- 7Manage ETRN and MICN certification requirements within 12 months of hire
- 8Complete annual education for ECRN or MICN certification holders
- 9Obtain CEN certification preferred and BSN degree preferred
- 10Earn NRP and ENPC certifications within specified timelines
- 11Maintain trauma nurse core course certification for designated facilities
Requirements5
- 1Current state RN license and active BLS certification
- 2Valid ALS and PALS certificates maintained throughout employment
- 3Certified Emergency Nurse preferred with BSN degree
- 4ECRN or MICN certification obtained within 12 months of hire
- 5Trauma Nurse Core Course completed within 12 months for designated facilities
