What You'll Do10
- 1Oversee food service program at single site ensuring high quality standards inventory management food safety and customer service
- 2Lead and support food service team to meet quality and safety standards
- 3Maintain accurate records of income expenditures food supplies personnel and equipment using HCSG computer software
- 4Conduct staff training quality control and in-service sessions performing roles of dietary aide cook and dishwasher as needed
- 5Communicate directives from client managers building occupants and administrators to HCSG staff effectively
- 6Use protective gear ensure safe mixing and use of cleaning solutions report equipment needs or malfunctions promptly
- 7Follow infection control universal precautions and handwashing procedures to maintain a sanitary environment
- 8Maintain consistent attendance punctuality and timely completion of tasks
- 9Represent HCSG positively through courteous and cooperative interactions with supervisors co-workers client staff residents and guests
- 10All other duties as assigned
Requirements13
- 1Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality including food service or restaurant management coursework preferred
- 2Two years of experience in quantity food production service and personnel supervision preferred
- 3Certified Dietary Manager CDM certification preferred or as required by state and county law
- 4Obtain Food Protection Manager FPM within first 14 days of employment
- 5Obtain Food Service Manager FSM and Long-Term Care Food Service LTC-FSM certifications within first 60 days of employment
- 6Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 7Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- 8Ability to lift/carry maximum 50 pounds push/pull maximum 50 pounds stand sit bend and walk for extended periods
- 9Perform routine repetitive tasks continuously
- 10Work around food and cleaning products
- 11Basic computer skills maintaining records and completing reports as required including web-based reporting
- 12Complete approved sanitation and safety course
- 13Residency within service area required
