Dining Services Manager in Training, Healthcare
Overview
You will learn to run dining services operations at a healthcare facility through a structured 16-week paid program with HCSG. You'll master meal preparation, service, and quality control while gaining hands-on leadership experience. You'll work alongside experienced managers, residents, and staff in a supportive environment. This role prepares you to manage your own account, making a real difference in resident experiences.
What You'll Do6
- 1Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
- 2Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- 3Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
- 4Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
- 5Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
- 6Complete all other assigned duties.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
- 3Strong organizational and communication skills.
- 4Obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM), Food Service Manager (FSM), Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM), and CDM,CFPP certifications during the program.
- 5Valid driver's license.
- 6Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 7Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- 8Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- 9Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.
- 10Residency within the service area required.
