Overview
You own the flow of food and drinks at Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe at the Buttes, keeping the bar and dining areas stocked, clean, and guest-ready. You work alongside bartenders and servers in a high-volume resort environment, delivering orders and clearing tables with speed and precision. This dual-role position builds your foundation in hospitality operations, with direct exposure to inventory management and guest service. What You'll Do8
- 1Stock food stations with plates, utensils, condiments, and napkins before service begins.
- 2Transport food orders from the kitchen to the bar area, confirming accuracy and timeliness.
- 3Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, beer, and supplies throughout the shift.
- 4Support servers by delivering food to tables, clearing dishes, and resetting as needed.
- 5Open and close the bar, completing side work and stocking for the next shift.
- 6Remove dirty dishes and utensils, transport them to the dish pit, and empty trash and recycling.
- 7Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area, including storage rooms.
- 8Communicate with kitchen staff and service team to resolve guest requests and special needs.
Requirements8
- 11+ years in a restaurant or bar environment preferred, but not required.
- 2Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds.
- 3Stand and walk for extended periods during full shifts.
- 4Work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.
- 5Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and tasks.
- 6Clear communication with team members and guests.
- 7Handle high-volume service with a calm and composed demeanor.
- 8Availability for opening, closing, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
