What You'll Do10
- 1Stock the bar with spirits, mixers, glassware, and garnishes before each shift, ensuring availability during peak hours.
- 2Clear and reset bar stations between orders, maintaining a clean and organized workspace for bartenders.
- 3Anticipate the needs of bartenders and servers, delivering supplies and removing empty bottles promptly.
- 4Support the service team by running food and drinks from the bar to tables during rush periods.
- 5Follow health and safety standards, wiping surfaces and polishing glassware to uphold presentation quality.
- 6Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing urgent requests from guests and staff without losing composure.
- 7Assist with inventory counts and restock deliveries, verifying that backstock matches par levels.
- 8Stay on your feet for full shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds and moving through the bar with grace and speed.
- 9Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude, embodying the restaurant's welcoming vibe for guests.
- 10Participate in pre-shift briefings to align on specials, large parties, and operational updates.
Requirements10
- 11+ years of barback, busser, or runner experience in a fine-dining setting.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
- 3Ability to carry hot plates comfortably and lift up to 50 pounds.
- 4Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- 5Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts.
- 6Detail-oriented with a keen eye for cleanliness and organization.
- 7Reliable and punctual, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
- 8Strong memory and ability to remember multiple guest requests and drink orders.
