What You'll Do10
- 1Greet every guest in the lobby and patio with a friendly hello and goodbye, acknowledging them throughout their visit.
- 2Mix and serve specialty cocktails, wine, and beer, keeping up with industry trends and recommending drinks.
- 3Use the POS system to process cash and card payments accurately, allocating tips fairly among staff.
- 4Set up the patio and lobby before opening, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready.
- 5Monitor the bar top, tables, and patio, busing and pre-bussing to maintain cleanliness.
- 6Anticipate guest needs and provide full-cycle service from initial greeting to closing out tabs.
- 7Suggestively sell food, drinks, and merchandise to enhance the guest experience.
- 8Adhere to all safety protocols and legal serving requirements, including Title 4 and Food Handlers standards.
- 9Check bathroom cleanliness per training guidelines and assist other departments as needed.
- 10Operate RHC equipment like iPads and card readers with care, and handle kegs up to 125 lbs using a dolly.
Requirements10
- 1Previous bartender experience in a high-volume setting.
- 219 years of age or older.
- 3Title 4 certification and Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire.
- 4Basic math skills for cash handling and cocktail measurements.
- 5Knowledge of specialty cocktails, wine, and beer.
- 6Ability to lift 25 pounds or more at waist or shoulder level.
- 7Ability to push, pull, and maneuver 125 lb kegs using a furniture dolly.
- 8Physical stamina to stand, walk, climb stairs, and balance regularly.
- 9Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
- 10Ability to multitask with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy.
