Food & Beverage Supervisor, Sesame Place California
Overview
You will lead the food and beverage team at Sesame Place California, owning daily operations for a part-time seasonal workforce. You will manage schedules, training, and performance while ensuring food quality, guest service, and sanitation standards. What You'll Do10
- 1Create ambassador schedules and maintain Kronos reports
- 2Prepare and track daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- 3Address complaints and resolve problems
- 4Supervise and train ambassadors
- 5Plan, assign, and direct work
- 6Order and maintain products and supplies
- 7Ensure food quality, guest service, profit enhancement, ambassador satisfaction, and facility sanitation commitments are met
- 8Enter notifications for needed repairs to keep facility maintained
- 9Record the day's events in communication log
- 10Contact maintenance as necessary to maintain proper operation of all equipment and facility
Requirements10
- 1Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
- 2Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 3Strong basic math skills using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- 4Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and create and interpret graphs
- 5Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- 6Able to obtain ServSafe Manager Certification
- 7Able to pass alcohol training test
- 8Able to pass Food Handlers test and maintain valid Food Handlers card
- 9Able to lift 55 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
- 10Able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
