What You'll Do15
- 1Assist in overseeing the Food & Beverage department including restaurant food service production and bar service
- 2Establish positive work environment and culture of exceptional guest service and superior food quality
- 3Ensure compliance with Jamul Casino policies local state health codes and liquor regulations
- 4Support achievement of financial goals set by the General Manager and Director of F&B
- 5Maintain visible presence to support and engage guests
- 6Manage guest requests complaints and accidents to ensure swift resolution and satisfaction
- 7Motivate coach counsel and discipline team members as needed
- 8Maintain quality service standards through proper policy enforcement
- 9Communicate effectively between dining area and other departments
- 10Investigate service issues and implement corrective actions
- 11Assist in inventory and supply management establishing par levels and ordering
- 12Ensure equipment cleanliness and maintenance protocols are followed
- 13Complete F&B reporting and ensure timely submission
- 14Recruit train schedule and motivate F&B team members
- 15Perform daily oversight of all F&B operations
Requirements20
- 1Minimum 21 years of age
- 2High school diploma required associate degree or higher in food & beverage related field preferred
- 3At least 2 years supervisory experience in restaurant or hotel setting
- 4Knowledge of food handling storage industrial kitchen equipment and prep techniques
- 5Experience managing budgets and inventory
- 6Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 7Ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays
- 8Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
- 9Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized under pressure
- 10Positive team-oriented attitude with guest-first mindset
- 11ServSafe Certification
- 12TiPS Certification
- 13RBS Certification within 60 days of employment
- 14All required gaming licenses and regulatory permits
- 15Language skills ability to read and interpret documents in English
- 16Mathematical skills proficiency in basic math including money handling and measurement conversions
- 17Reasoning ability applying commonsense understanding to detailed written or oral instructions
- 18Physical demands standing using hands reaching communicating lifting moving up to 75 pounds occasionally pushing pulling bending stooping kneeling twisting working in confined spaces
