Fleet Service Technician, Diesel Repair Miami
Overview
You will own repair and maintenance for our fleet of refuse and concrete mixer trucks in Miami, FL. With 2-3+ years of diesel experience, you'll diagnose and fix diesel-powered engines using diagnostic tools. You'll work with a team of technicians in a clean, safe environment. This role offers $65,000-$80,000 annually, plus overtime, benefits, and 401k matching.
What You'll Do8
- 1Repair refuse trucks, concrete mixer trucks, and other vehicles with accuracy and timeliness.
- 2Perform routine maintenance on diesel equipment, including oil changes and filter replacements.
- 3Use diagnostic tools to test components such as engines, brakes, and electrical systems.
- 4Conduct quality inspections before returning vehicles to customers, ensuring safety and compliance.
- 5Own all maintenance tasks for our fleet, from scheduled services to emergency breakdowns.
- 6Document repairs and parts used, maintaining accurate records.
- 7Drive vehicles for road tests to verify fixes and performance.
- 8Collaborate with the workshop team to prioritize urgent repairs.
Requirements7
- 12-3+ years of diesel technician experience required.
- 2Valid driver's license and clean MVR required.
- 3Own tools required.
- 4CDL preferred.
- 5Knowledge of operating principles and maintenance of gasoline and diesel-powered engines.
- 6Ability to lift heavy parts and work in varied conditions.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent.
