You'll own preventive maintenance and repairs for light to medium duty fleet vehicles across Miami, keeping Fleet operations reliable. You'll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, conduct Safety inspections, and document repairs with Work Order software. What You'll Do7
- 1Perform Preventive Maintenance on Light Duty and Medium Duty fleet vehicles in the first 90 days, reducing breakdowns by 20%.
- 2Diagnose Mechanical and Electrical issues using Diagnostic Tools and Multimeters to identify root causes.
- 3Conduct Safety inspections per DOT standards, ensuring vehicles meet compliance before road use.
- 4Document repairs and complete Work Orders accurately in Fleet Management Software within 24 hours.
- 5Maintain a clean and organized Work Area, including Tools and Toolbox, to meet shop standards.
- 6Collaborate with Supervisors and Team Members to prioritize fleet tasks and meet daily quotas.
- 7Follow Safety Procedures and Company Policies to prevent accidents and maintain OSHA compliance.
Requirements7
- 15+ years hands-on experience performing Automotive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty vehicles.
- 2Strong Diagnostic and Troubleshooting skills for Mechanical and Electrical systems.
- 3Valid Driver's License with clean record.
- 4Ability to own and maintain personal Tools and Toolbox required for the role.
- 5Ability to work independently and as part of a Team.
- 6Willingness to meet Physical Demands: standing, walking, climbing, bending, sitting, lifting heavy objects, and accessing tight spaces.
- 7Must pass pre-employment screenings, including Drug Screen and DOT Physical if required.
