What You'll Do8
- 1Diagnose and repair vehicle issues on autos and light trucks using diagnostic tools and your own complete set of hand tools, within your first 90 days.
- 2Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections to keep fleets running safely and efficiently.
- 3Document all work orders and parts usage accurately in the maintenance tracking system to ensure fleet compliance and billing.
- 4Communicate with dispatch and supervisors about repair timelines and any additional issues discovered during inspections.
- 5Keep your work area and tools organized, following all safety protocols and company procedures.
- 6Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- 7Participate in ongoing training programs to maintain certifications and expand your expertise with OEM systems.
- 8Support weekend coverage as required by the rotating schedule, ensuring fleet uptime for clients.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or GED required.
- 22+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience, or a combination of trade school and experience.
- 3Ability to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on autos and light trucks.
- 4Complete set of hand tools and a wheeled toolbox suitable for daily use.
- 5Acceptable driving record and ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- 6CDL Class B license is a plus.
- 7ASE certifications or OEM training preferred; ASE Master Technician status earns higher pay.
