What You'll Do8
- 1Diagnose and repair electrical and engine issues on Ford vehicles using OBD-II scanners and ALLDATA.
- 2Perform diesel diagnostics and repairs on F-250 to F-550 models, including Cummins turbo systems.
- 3Execute brake, suspension, and steering repairs to ASE standards, ensuring safety and reliability.
- 4Use CDK and Global Connect software to manage repair orders, track hours, and communicate with service advisors.
- 5Complete state inspections and emissions tests, maintaining compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations.
- 6Rebuild or replace transmissions and engines on heavy line jobs, from A-Level to Master skill.
- 7Collaborate with the team to ensure 5-day turnaround on all work, meeting production bonus targets.
- 8Continuously train on Ford certifications and ASE modules, using company reimbursement for professional growth.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of professional automotive repair and diagnostics experience.
- 2ASE certification in A1-A9 or Master Technician status, plus EPA 609 certification.
- 3Electrical and engine repair experience, including diagnosing faults with OBD-II and multimeter.
- 4Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a climate-controlled shop.
- 5Own tools and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- 6Prefer Ford certifications, diesel experience, and CDK knowledge.
- 7Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the US.
- 8Flexibility to work one Saturday per month and a 6-day week every fourth week.
