What You'll Do8
- 1Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles, including fluid checks, filter replacements, and tire inspections.
- 2Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on gasoline and diesel engines.
- 3Troubleshoot operating problems and determine root causes for various truck systems.
- 4Execute fuel system repairs, from component replacement to full system overhauls.
- 5Complete external truck repairs such as brake work, suspension, and body components.
- 6Conduct internal diesel engine repairs, including cylinder heads, pistons, and bearings.
- 7Use OEM diagnostic tools to read codes and pinpoint issues on major truck brands.
- 8Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records.
Requirements8
- 12-10+ years of experience as a truck or diesel technician.
- 2Proficiency in diesel and gas engine diagnosis and repair.
- 3Working knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- 4Experience with preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
- 5Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
- 6CDL license is a plus.
- 7Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- 8Reliable and dependable with excellent time management.
